As your email marketing campaigns evolve, you will want to consider refining your email list(s) into more and more specific sub-lists. For example, a leading athletic shoe company might start with an email campaign to 100,000 of its customers. After evaluating the results of the campaign, the next campaign would be significantly more targeted...people who clicked on running shoes in the first campaign would receive an email showcasing running offers...people who clicked on golf shoes would receive an email showcasing golf offers.

As the campaigns progress, the offers would become more and more targeted---personalized emails targeting certain genders in a certain socio-economic class living in certain zip codes are not just theoretically possible---they are happening right now with eConnect! If your current data mining system is not providing you with multiple list management and everything else you are seeking, we encourage you to upgrade to eConnect!

Creating new lists based on behavior or demographics of other lists is a simple form. You can even create an A/B Split, to create smaller randomly-generated sublists based on your existing lists.
